There is nothing worse than anticipating a specific Disney attraction only to find out, after you arrive, that it will be closed for the duration of your stay.
Below is a complete list of the Walt Disney World rehab schedules that you can expect in the upcoming weeks and months. You can't plan for sudden closings, but you can manage your expectations by referring to list below before your Disney vacation. Not all "shut downs" are scheduled, and there are countless reasons why an attraction might suddenly close.
Don't get mad at the Cast Members, it's not their fault.

NOTE: Our listing is for those refurbishments that will have an impact on the majority of guests. When it comes to changing out rooms, this is fairly routine as Disney is always monitoring their resorts. Unless it's a full scale remodel, it's considered standard maintenance and is not included in the refurb/rehab schedule.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas Construction - Now thru 4/30/09 - Guests will see and hear ongoing construction during this time. All building activity will take place during the daytime
Sunset Savannah - January 15 - April 15, 2009 - There will be no animals on the Sunset Savannah during this acclimation period. For DVC members who book a Savannah view room during this time and are assigned a room on the Sunset Savannah, the point difference between a standard view room and a Savannah view will be credited back to their account.
Sections of Stormalong Bay will be closed during this refurbishment. Guests may use the three leisure pools at this resort as well as the feature pool at the Boardwalk if they wish to use a poolslide
Individual loops at at the Campground are being refurbished one at a time now through mid-2009
The Meadows feature pool at Ft. Wilderness will be closed from 1/12 – 3/20/09

REHAB: The attraction is
closed for routine maintenance.
REFURBISHMENT: The
attraction is closed for an extended period for extensive
repairs/remodeling.
DARK: This term is used when a performance of a stage show is not scheduled
